Parents ask us
Do I pay before I see the book?+
You see a free preview first: the cover and the first illustrated pages, plus the full story text. If you love it, you unlock the rest. After paying you can still fix or repaint any page before it prints.
Will it really look like my child?+
The illustrations are painted from your photos, and you check every page before paying. Not happy with one? Repaint it, describe changes, or upload your own picture. All free.
Which languages can the story be in?+
English, Afrikaans or isiZulu. Pick the language in the wizard and the whole story is written in it. Read-aloud narration is available in English and Afrikaans for now.
Can I choose the illustration style?+
Yes. Six styles: Classic Storybook, Modern 3D, Playful & Bold, Flat Pastel, Soft Clay and Lifelike. Pick one in the wizard and the whole book is painted that way.
Can the book read itself aloud?+
Yes. Every purchased book includes warm read-aloud narration in your online copy, with the words lighting up as they're spoken. Free at launch.
How long until the printed book arrives?+
After a human checks every page, it's printed in South Africa and couriered to your door, usually within 5 to 9 working days. Your digital copy is ready the moment you pay.
What happens to my child's photos?+
They're encrypted, never used to train AI, never shared, and deleted automatically 7 days after delivery. Guardian consent is built into every book.
Can I add their dog, sister or gogo to the story?+
Yes. Up to two sidekicks with their own photos, painted true to life on every page they appear.
Tonight’s bedtime story could star them.
